work stress. Employee work stress needs to be concerned by the company, due to

organization on a large or small scale. An employee who perceives how big the

The previous explanation stated that one of the factors causing work
stress is environmental factor. Changes in the work environment of the state
forest corporation can cause uncertainty for the employees and even threaten
them from losing their jobs or occupations when the company faces a long term
financial problems. Research conducted by Park, Rhee, and Barracks (2016) states
that employees who experiences mental disorders associated with work stress
are caused by job insecurity and low income. The study shows job insecurity as
one of the causes of work stress.
There are some experts who define job insecurity. Ashford, et al (1989)
states job insecurity as a mental state of employees where they feel that their
work is threatened and they are powerless to do anything to resolve the issues.
Based on these definitions there are two aspects that make up the job insecurity,
the feeling threatened about the work or the job and the feelings of powerless to
