A television ad, over 150 radio spots and newspapers in all regions were used
to advertise the special pork prices.
Feedback from Food Lovers was that the campaign was a huge success with
pork sales almost double that of a normal 8-day cycle.

Drum Food Ambassador Project
The monthly follow-up publicity of 2 pork recipes and pork related cooking
tips, cooked and styled by the winner of the competition, will end at the end
of June 2020.

Digital and print Advertorial in TASTE
An inside front cover position was secured for a SA Pork advertorial in the June
issue of the printed and digital versions of TASTE.
A copy of the double page spread is attached hereto.
Online recipe based More Meat for your Money campaign
This campaign had been planned before the hard lockdown was announced
and launched one week before lockdown kicked in.
The SAPPO team adjusted the content for this campaign immediately to
reflect pork cuts, recipes, tips and preparation videos suitable for everyday
store cupboard ingredients and affordable, easy home cooking.
The target market was consumers who consume digital content from five
Family Titles, being Huisgenoot, You, Drum, Kuier and Move.
The reach and engagement was excellent, with 3 842 315 consumers
reached with the pork messages and recipes. The PDF final campaign report
is attached.
#YesMrPresident Campaign
To support the SA lockdown rules announced by the President, SAPPO staged
a campaign on the digital platforms of You, Drum and Move with the
challenge to consumers to change their social media profile photos to
incorporate the #YesMrPresident frame around their own pictures.
