P. 19
What we have to do is think about
not only our own futures, but
those of all the other people who
are affected by the solution you
have chosen. Think about who
will be affected and how will they
be affected – in a good way or a
bad way? What will change for you and for anyone else if you apply your solution? Be
very wise and make your solution a perfect butterfly.
OK, now that we have some ideas about how to solve our problem, we can move to the
final stage, Step 4, and start to do something about it.
Step 4: Do it!
Shark-thinking
Circle it, size it up, be very cautious, then go for it! If you watch sharks studying
something to see if it could make a decent dinner, you will notice how they don’t do the
crocodile thing – instead they will circle around, looking out of the corner of their eye, to
make sure it isn’t going to be something that will turn around and bite them back! This
could be a handy tip if your
problem is risky – sometimes it
might be wiser to swim away!
But, if you have followed the first
three steps and thought the
problem through, you should be ready to act. Put your solution into action.
