Part II: Chapter 2 ‐ The Personality Match

                                  • "So then we have the following agreement ..."
                                  • "I think you're wrong about that. Think of it this way..."
                                  • "I have thought about it for a long time and have come to
                                     the firm conclusion that ..."
                                  • "I'll have to read through these documents at my leisure first."

His body language is very reduced. He always seems a bit stiff,
sometimes awkward. He shows neither lively gestures nor facial
expressions, because he is very controlled and strongly self-
controlled. He doesn't like to be the center of attention and that's why
he tries not to stand out through his body language. Above all, he
does not show his feelings; you will never hear him burst out laughing,
especially in a professional environment. He is immensely neat,
almost fastidious. His office is always tidy; on his desk there is only
what he needs for his work.
Of course, a blue person also has the whole range of emotions,
but it is hardly noticeable to him. Emotions always run over the mind
with him. If you ask him if he is happy, he will answer, "I think so." You
can tell how he feels by his actions rather than his verbal expressions.
His most important emotion to deal with himself is fear - for example,
he is very afraid of doing something wrong. He is a perfectionist and
finds it hard to forgive himself for mistakes. That's why he has a hard
time taking criticism. He also can't deal with chaos and needs fixed
structures. That's why he makes an enormous effort to do everything
                               as perfectly as possible.
At work, he is above all a disciplined, structured worker who
needs his peace and order. He is best suited for all tasks where
thoroughness and ob- jective analysis are required. He does not feel
comfortable in activities where contact with people is in the
                               foreground. When he
