B-Coded components of the WINSTA MIDI special series are designed for specialty applications
(e.g., measurement, control and regulation technology) and certified per DIN EN 61984. In
addition to the gray models for 110–400 V voltages, there is now also a variant in light green
for low voltages up to 48 V, as well as a pink one for bus applications. Each of the three versions
is available in 2-, 3- or 4- and 5-pole configurations. Pole marking can be printed at the factory
to suit customer requirements. According to IEC 61535, B-coded products are protected against
mismating with all other coding types found in the WINSTA system. Within B coding, all special

variants can mate with each other. The variable coding system provides clear circuit identification.
Special variants can be clearly differentiated according to color and pole marking. They can be
coded on-site or delivered with factory-installed custom coding.
