SURFACE INCLINOMETER

The surface inclinometer is a portable device built
to measure pitch and roll for a huge variety of
applications. It features an accuracy of 0.05 degrees
over full 360 degrees range and provides wireless
transmission of data. The system is battery powered
and comes with laptop and software that collects,
processes and stores the data.
The system consists of four main parts: Inclinometer Unit (IU), 2 x
Transceiver / Battery Unit (TBU), and a computer with software.
Inclinometer Overall System
The function of this system is to provide pitch and roll measurements by
transmitting the acquired data wirelessly to the receiver. A computer is
connected to the receiver and hence will interpret the data to be displayed
on the screen. Acquired data can be stored locally on the computer. The IU
is provided with a mechanical levelling system which allows for the unit to
be zeroed once its base plate has been installed.
The TBU has built-in high capacity rechargeable battery that provides 80
hours of operation time. The transceiver component in the TBU has a range
of up to 30km.
