After one month, the witch did not

want to wait anymore. "Gretel, heat the

oven. I am going to cook Hansel for dinner,

although he is still thin," said the witch.

"I am not sure if the oven is hot

enough," said Gretel. "Let me see," said the

witch. She stuck her head in the oven.

At that moment, Gretel pushed the

witch into the oven and locked the oven

door. Then she unlocked her brother from

the cage. Hansel and Gretel found gold and

diamonds in the house.
