It worked for awhile, but, of course,
she eventually discovered the truth.

She was furious. For a while it looked as though
they would never get back together.

But, eventually, love won out.

In fact, it was she who helped to transform him into the
rainbow, so that they could be together in the day, as well.

“A rainbow?”I gasped.

“Yes! Uenuku is known as the rainbow god.” she
surmised that was why mist people saw more
rainbows.

I blurted out, “I’d have liked Uenuku. I’m kind of a
rainbow girl myself.”

I explained that they always seemed to show up,
sometimes almost like an inner guidance system for me.
I was kind of stalked by rainbows and I love them.

We arrived back at the manor and it was time for
me to go. Aroha had disappeared with the Professor, so
I gathered the rest of my things and started walking
toward my car.
