He let me know that he had just advised the
committee that his first candidate of choice was now
available and he had accepted her…. me, Kori Bailey.

By now you are probably thinking, well this is
pretty far-fetched, which is exactly what I would be
thinking if it didn’t actually happen to me.

For some strange reason I really felt at home, even
though, I was half-way around the world from
California.

It was somewhat eerie and comforting at the same
time and little did I know that things were going to get
a lot more bizarre, as my journey was only just
beginning.
