Delray Medical Center Holds Grand Opening of New Patient Tower
On June 29, Delray Medical Center held a
ribbon cutting for its new patient tower. The
tower will feature the following:
• 96 Private Patient Rooms
• A New Helipad to Expedite Transfer of
Trauma Patients
• A Five Level 150,000 SF Parking Garage
• Registration Services
• Comprehensive Cardiovascular Clinic
Including Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Expanded Laboratory
• Advanced Imaging Technology

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Unveils
Advanced Dual Source CT Imaging
Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center recently
held a ribbon cutting to unveil its new 256-slice
CT scanner, featuring the Somatom Definition
flash system with dual source CT from Siemens.
The first of its kind in northern Palm Beach
County, this advanced imaging technology is
designed to offer increased speed for faster,
more efficient exams; low dosage; detailed,
high-quality images; and reduction of artifacts
from metal.

Alternative Home Health Care
Announces Winner of Its Scholarship
for Nursing Assistants Program
In celebration of the 40th Annual National Nursing Assistants Week,
Alternative Home Health Care (AHHC) awarded a South Florida resident with
a full-tuition scholarship to attend an accredited certified nursing assistant
(CNA) / home health aide (HHA) program of his choice.
Scholarship recipient Marco Villar, of Royal Palm Beach, has also been offered
employment with AHHC following their certification.
