Just for Kicks
As I’ve mentioned, gremlins change their styles, appearances, methods, and
even their gender from time to time. With that recognition and just for
kicks, you might want to do a rough sketch of your gremlin as you imagine
him or her at this moment. What does he/she look like? Has she/he a color?
Is she/he large or small, slim or heavy, mean-looking, amorphous, distinct?
Play with creating a visual representation of your gremlin. Or write an
introduction for him or her. How about a character description as if for a
screenplay? Or a job description? Does he remind you of Coach Don
Ledup, the Artist, Reverend Al Drydup, or any of the other gremlins I
described earlier? Your gremlin might even remind you of someone you
know or have known. Or your gremlin may resemble an animal or an object
—a dark cloud, perhaps, or a fog. Give him or her a name if you wish.
Remember that gremlins change their style and form rather often.
