         Congregational Retreat: On Saturday, April 27  Trinity welcomed The Company of Saints from Waterdown,
        Ontario. The Company of Saints is a Christian music, arts, and theatre group formed in January of 2000 as a
        ministry of Knox Presbyterian Church, Waterdown. The Saints led a music and drama worship, directed by Laurie
        McNair, Shaun Vince and Susan Kerr. The retreat began with a much-appreciated breakfast at 8:30 am. Sincere
        thanks to Esther Rupnarain and the Congregational Life Ministry for their hospitality.

        The Pancake Supper: occurring on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, was held on

        Tuesday, March 5  at 5:30 pm. It was a great time to be together to encounter and enjoy a significant moment
        of fellowship in the Church year. A great supper was held in the good company of old friends and new. Sincere
        thanks to Linda Herron and the Congregational Life Ministry for their great help.

        The Reformation Breakfast was yet again an informative and engaging time as we accented our Presbyterian
        heritage, affirmed our central theological conviction and considered God’s ongoing reformation of the Church.

        The  breakfast  was  held  on  Sunday,  October  21 .  Our  guest  speaker  was  Trinity’s  Director  of  Music,  and,
        Coordinator of Youth and Young Adults, Michael Gomiega. Michael spoke with passion and knowledge of what
        it means to have the Reformation matter in our lives and the life of the Church. Sincere thanks to Linda Herron
        and the Congregational Life Ministry for their great help.

        Christmas Pageant: The annual pageant was held for its 32  year on December 8 . This cherished annual
        proclamation  of  ‘God’s Plan’  and  ‘God’s  Good News’ was  once  again  received  with  joy  and  gratitude.  The
        congregation  remains  so  appreciative  of  the  vision,  and  faithfulness  of  Dorothy  Hunter,  writer,  and  Mark
        Boucher, Director.

        Film Screening: Paul Burford, with Sumi Jeung, presented WORDMUSIC – Connecting Culture to the Cross on

        May 1 . It was a ‘Performance Reading’ intertwining iconic poems, movie monologues and Bible verses. It was
        a  celebration  of  language,  designed  to  evoke  and  illuminate  the  evidence  of  God’s  voice  in  a  communal
        perspective. By candlelight. Musical accomplice: Sumi Jeung.


        Lunch Bunch: The Trinity Lunch Bunch is a group of people who gather together on the second Wednesday of
        each  month  from  11:30  am  to  1  pm  in  September  through  June.  The  Lunch  Bunch  was  a  vision  of  Ruth
        McCormick and we thank Ruth for her enthusiasm and leadership and wish her well as she and Alec begin their
        new life in Ottawa. Staff members: Melvin, Michael, Vandy and Antoinette together took over the leadership in
        the Fall, offering the following:
