Ross Hudgins recently used LogMeIn Rescue Lens
to help a customer who lost data and hope! Here is
what they said:
“We would like to let you know that we are very grateful for Ross Hudgins
assistance with setting up an automated backup system for our CMBX files over
the past few months. In early May, we had a power outage that fried the hard
drive on our IC computer. We lost about 5 years’ worth of data.
We originally reached out to Thermo to see if there is a way that we could
recover this data (Ticket #312484). After exploring many avenues with Ross, we
came to the conclusion that the best we can do at this point is to replace the hard
drive and prevent to loss of data acquired moving forward. Ross put 100% into
providing us with the support we needed to get our instrument back up and
running as soon as possible. Ross also provided us with easy-to-follow standard
operating procedures and also remoted in to assist us, when needed. Ross has
also been working diligently with us and our IT department to ensure that we
have a fail-safe system in place so that in the event that our computer
malfunctions again, we will still have access to our data.
We have been very impressed with the level of service that we received from
Ross. We greatly appreciate Thermo Fisher’s dedication to service and to all of
its customers. This is one of the many reasons we continue to choose Thermo
for our instrument needs!”
