Amendment Reservation
An amendment reservation, also known as a modifying
reservation, is a condition that occurs when a guest requests a
change from the original reservation. This circumstance
frequently occurs when the guest's needs alter from their original
reservation. This circumstance may arise as a result of their plans
changing, the guest requiring a more suited room, or other
factors. When changing a reservation, a guest can request the
following changes:
1. The type of the room
The first thing that can be adjusted in a reservation is the
room type. The room types are referring to the room
category's rate. Depending on the availability of the
desired room, the guest may upgrade or decrease their
room reservation. The guest can also modify their
accommodation at the same charge or request certain
amenities like as a smoking room, a room with a guest
room, or something else.
2. The length of stay
The length of stay is the second consideration. Guests
may amend their reservation in terms of length of stay
based on their needs. For example, if a guest requests a
reservation for five days in the original plan, their
reservation may be extended to six days.
3. The Dates
The third aspect is the dates. The guest might postpone or
prepone their reservation based on their needs. For
example, the guest needs to postpone their reservation
from the 12th of December to 14th of December.
