now. He was the inert body found in the forest some
time ago. It was a perfect shell for me, I possessed it
to strengthen me. I need vital energy to increase my
power. And this life energy, it is you who will give it
to me. Every time you die you give me some of your
energy. And after a while you won't have enough
energy to wake up”. The monster opened an
inordinately large mouth and thrust his fangs down
James' throat.

“James, wake up. Breakfast is ready and your
phone's been ringing off the hook”. said the voice of
James' mother. James woke up and felt a terrible pain
in his throat, chest and waist. He removed the book
that was hurting his waist and stood up. He felt
exhausted as if he had just run a very long distance.
However, this time James remembered everything,
he knew why he had all the pain, but instead of
reassuring him, knowing it worried him even more.
The face of the monster haunted him. He told Kate
that he wouldn't come to her party because he was
sick and warned Thomas of his supposed illness. He
had to avoid seeing Thomas. Or at least to go to the
forest. He was reassured to see that Thomas had not
come to his house at the time he had come the time
