Abstract
An alternative method is presented to introduce the concepts of randomness in a playful way. It is shown how the use of virtual computer
experiments helps make learning meaningful for the student. A simulation of one of the classic and traditional games of chance at
Mexican fairs is performed to introduce the student to the concept of chance, relative frequency, law of large numbers, random variables
and normal distribution.
