At times, less reputable pharmaceutical companies will partner with

other so-called reputable

companies, like Johnson & Johnson,
to create this “Feel Good”

reputation.

You might remember in 1969,

Jehovah’s Witnesses purchased the
Squibb pharmaceutical buildings in

Brooklyn, down the hill at 25

Columbia Heights. Squibb
pharmaceuticals later merged with

Bristol Meyers and then in 2019

purchased Celgene pharmaceuticals. Would you like to know how they
make billions of dollars on cancer drugs?

Let us say they want to create a new cancer drug that fills a specific
void in treating a type of cancer, multiple myeloma. They spend $900

million in research and development and multiple stages of human

studies. Two years later, they get FDA approval and call it “Revlimid”
(lenalidomide). It is now pushed by every oncologist in the world as the

new “go-to drug” for multiple myeloma. They rationalize it should
work in about 42% of patients but it can also have serious side effects

like additional cancers, anemia, leukemia, stroke, pulmonary

embolisms, heart failure, fever, heavy menstrual bleeding, anal
bleeding, severe fatigue, and about 20

other serious side effects, including WARNING: EMBRYO-FETAL
