Configuring a Monitor
Note:
If using the Detect Sensitivity function it is recommended to visually
check the data collected using the ‘View Measurement’ button to
make sure that the detected sensitivity is correct.
The ‘Run Measurement’ button will run a measurement using the selected Sensitivity.
The ‘View Measurement’ button will show you the last measurement that was run. When
evaluating the measurement to see if the sensitivity is appropriate, check the following:
• The Measurement Status should be reported as ‘OK’.
• The Measurement Quality should be reported as ‘OK’. If the Quality is reported as
‘Alert’, this means that the QM results exceed the currently configured Alert
thresholds,
• The largest QM should be no more than 50% of the selected sensitivities’ maximum
voltage. For example, if the sensitivity is set for 20-340 mV, then all QM values
should be ideally less than 170 mV. This allows for PD to increase over time and
build a good trend before needing to set a new sensitivity.

On the View Measurement page, you can also save the measurement to the database
if desired.
