Configuring a Monitor
7.6.4. GuardII PD Trigger Configuration
PD Trigger configuration sets the QM thresholds for the PD level Triggers. Press the
‘PD Trigger’ button on the ribbon.
Enter the QM thresholds for the Moderate, High and Very-High PD level Triggers. A
separate threshold can be entered for Asset and Total System Activity (for BUS PD
systems), for C1 and C2 (for PDA PD systems) and for Endwinding and Total Slot Activity
(for SSC PD systems).
Use the ‘Load Defaults’ button to set the thresholds based on the asset ratings.
Note:
Default PD Alert thresholds are based on a statistical analysis of PD
activity in similar assets. In some cases, the combination of asset
parameters may not have enough statistical data to recommend
default PD alert thresholds.
Once the data is entered, review it and make sure that it is correct. Then press the
‘Confirm’ button.
