5.8.2. Internal Ground
GuardII+ also includes field-ground isolation that can be used to either connect or
disconnect the monitor ground to the power supply ground.
WARNING:
When GuardII+ is grounded using the external ground bolt, the field-
ground isolator must be set to the isolated (factory default) position.
Ground isolation is achieved by means of a hex screw and nylon washer on the AC
Termination Board. With the washer installed, the external ground is isolated from the ac
power ground. By removing the washer and re-inserting the screw, the external ground is
connected to the ac power ground.
