Disease Is Easier To Spread Than Cure—
Disease is a lot easier to spread than cure. The
spreading of disease requires no special training or
expertise. It doesn’t require a medical degree from the
Harvard School of Medicine, to be a spreader of disease.
Anyone can do it.
Likewise, some churches spread more disease than
cure. When pastors or the members of the congregation are
insensitive or unkind to their visitors or new members…
or when they practice a double standard among the
members of the church, this is the same as spreading an
infectious disease.
I find it interesting, how church members make a
bee-line to their friends and buddies when the worship
service ends. They’re more excited about socializing with
one another than they are about greeting visitors to their
churches.
While the members are busy shaking hands with,
and hugging each other, the visitor is left alone to fend
for himself. Not only are you not going out to fish, but
you’re not even trying to reach the lost when the Lord
brings them into your church and plops them right

When members band together with another member,
or even a visitor to tear down or to destroy the pastor and
his reputation, they are spreading disease. Whether the
pastor or any leader or member of the church is the guilty
party, it is infectious, and like any other disease, it must
be stopped. When church members tell people, who are
survivors of church abuse, that it was their fault, they are
spreading more disease.
Because infected members of the church are highly
contagious, it would be best if those who are vulnerable
