CHAPTER-II

Definitions: Unless, there is anything repugnant in the subject or
contest in these regulations.

1. “Society” means the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Employees
Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., Tirupati [The TTD ECCS Ltd., Tirupati].

2. “Act” means the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Society Act 1964.

3. “Rules” means the rules made under the Andhra Pradesh Cooperative
Societies Act 1964.

4. “Byelaws” means the Byelaw of the TTD ECCS Ltd., Tirupati registered
under A.P. Cooperative Societies Act.1964 and Rules.

5. “Committee” means the Board of Management of the TTD ECCS Ltd.,
Tirupati

6. “Registrar” means the commission for Cooperation and the Registrar of
Cooperative Societies or any other Officer conferred with the powers of
the Registrar.

7. “Government” means the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.

8. “Regulations” means Service Regulations of the Employees of the TTD
ECCS Ltd., Tirupati.

9. “Employee” means a person employed on regular basis or other than
those engaged on contract basis or on deputation.

10. “Competent Authority” means the Authority empowered the deal with
any matter as prescribed in these regulations and Byelaws of the
Society.

11. “Financing Bank” means The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams or
Nationalized Bank from which the Society avails fiancés or to which it
is affiliated.

12. “President” means the President or the Chairman or the PIC or the
Special Officer of the Society.
