13. “Chief Executive Officer” means the General Manager or the Secretary
or the Manager or Managing Director appointed by the Board the
Directors of the Society.
14. “Temporary Employee” means an employee who has been appointed
on temporary basis for specific period and for special purpose.

15. “Year” means the cooperative year commencing from 1 April of any

year and ends with 31 of March of the succeeding year.
16. “Period of Service” means the period spent on duty on deputation and
on leave sanctioned with Salary.
17. “Family” means employee’s wife, Husband, Father, Mother, Daughter
and son residing with him and wholly dependent on the employee.
18. “Near Relative” means employee’s Mother, Mother-in-Law, Father,
Father-in-Law, son, Son-in-law, Daughter, daughter-in-law, wife,
Husband, Brother, Brother-in-law, sister, Sister-in-law, nephew and
niece.
19. “Probationary Period” means appointment made for specific period, on
the expiry of which, the person is confirmed in the Services, if his work
and conduct are found to be satisfactory or his service are terminated,
if his work, and conduct are found to be unsatisfactory.
20. “Pay” means the amount of salary fixed by the Managing Committee of
the Society to its employees ever year.
