E. Rule of Reservation in Appointments
Reservation for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled
Tribes, Backward Classes and other categories shall be in accordance with
the orders / instructions issued by the State Government from time to
time, that are in force at the time of taking up appointments.
F. COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICE
The service of an employee shallbe deemed to commence from the working
day on which an employee reports for duty on any appointment. If he
reports for duty in the afternoon, the service shall be deemed to commence
from the following day.
F (a) Joining Time and Leave
1. Joining time at the initial appointment shall be 15 days inclusive of
holidays from the date of receipt of appointment order. Salary will be
paid only from the date of joining.
2. Joining time will not be allowed to the employee when the transfer to
new post does not involve change of his headquarters.
3. In case where transfer involves change of station, two days Joining
Time will be allowed between Tirupati and Tirumala. Similarly, with
regard to transfer to other stations, six days will be allowed for
preparation and one journey day.
4. Provided further that if the joining time so allowed expires on a holiday
observed by the Society / Office to which the employee has been
posted, he shall join duty on the date immediately following such
holiday.
5. Joining time cannot be combined with any leave nor can it be claimed
as a matter of right. It may be curtailed at the discretion of the
authority empowered to transfer the employee.
6. An employee who does not join his post on the expiry of the joining
time allowed to him shall render himself liable to disciplinary action in
"the event of unsatisfactory explanation for over stay.
7. Salary for the Joining Time given for Promotion / Transfers shall be
paid as admissible under Rules.
G: Compassionate Appointments:
1. The compassionate appointment requests received shall be
considered by the Board of directors and eligible candidates shall be
appointed where suitable vacancies are available.
