• There is some evidence that echinacea applied to the skin can help
wounds and ulcers heal.

• Echinacea also seems to help prevent vaginal yeast infections when
used with some medicated creams.

Mechanism of action:
Enhancement of the body defences through non specific stimulation of
the immune system.

Dandelion

The amaroids in Dandelion are cholagogic and secretolytic in the upper
intestinal tract.

• Dyspeptic complaints
• Infections of the urinary tract, diuretic
• Liver and gallbladder complaints
• Loss of appetite

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Closure of the biliary ducts.

Consultation with a doctor is necessary in the presence of biliary
ailments.
