GAAP Adj Segment
Captures the GAAP adjustment type; utilized for Securities & Exchange Commission
reporting.
General & Administrative (G&A)
Corporate Functions related to the day-to-day operations of the business i.e. HR, Finance, IT,
Compliance, Legal, Public Affairs
General & Administrative Expenses
These are the costs associated with running the company as opposed to the costs of making
or buying the products.
General Ledger (GL)
A company's main accounting records. A general ledger is a complete record of financial
transactions over the life of a company. The ledger holds account information that is needed
to prepare financial statements, and includes accounts for assets, liabilities, owners' equity,
revenues and expenses.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
A widely accepted set of rules, conventions, standards, and procedures for reporting
financial information, as established by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
Genetically Modified Organism (GMO)
Organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques
Geo Code
Used for Sales Territories reporting and to attribute revenues and expenses recorded on one
legal entity to the region of another.
Geographic Information System (GIS)
