                             GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SECTION’S PHYSICAL AND
                                                   HUMAN RESOURCES


                   I.     PHYSICAL RESOURCES

                         The Guidance & Counseling Section is equipped with the following physical resources in
                      realization to its vision-mission:


                             1.1 Office Space
                             1.2 Counseling Cubicles
                             1.3 Testing Room
                             1.4 Testing Materials
                             1.5 Guidance Forms
                             1.6 Drawers with locks to secure confidential data
                             1.7 Computer Set
                             1.8 LCD Projector


                   II.   HUMAN RESOURCES

                  2.1 GUIDANCE COUNSELORS

                                The success of the guidance program depends upon the qualification and personality of
                  the Guidance Counselor. He should be a model of all virtues, generously patient and kind but with
                  firm principles and should be capable of enlightening heavy hearts. He should be capable to win
                  the friendship and confidence of students, school personnel and the community as a whole.


                                 Equipped  with  proper  trainings  and  professional  expertise,  he  should  be  capable  of
                  assisting his clients to see through the situation and make their own decisions to problems being
                  encountered.


                  2.2 GUIDANCE STAFF

                         Organization of files, preparations of action plans/targets, budget proposal, office reports,
                  communication/correspondences,  activity  proposals  and  preparing  other  necessary  documents
                  during accreditation visits, facilitating guidance and career activities are among the responsibilities
                  of a Guidance Staff. To understand the helping profession, he/she should be a graduate of any of
                  the allied courses in  Psychology  and /or Guidance  and Counseling and /or with professional
                  experience in the helping role.
