II.THE GUIDANCE STAFF FUNCTIONS

                  1.To prepare action plans, reports, budget proposal, communication/correspondences needed by
                  the office.

                  2. To assist during college entrance examination.

                  3.To  facilitate  during  conduct  of  guidance  activities  and  to  take  charge  of  registration  of
                  participants.


                  4.To  assist  during  accreditation  visits  under  Area  IV-Parameter  B  by  preparing  the  required
                  documents from the office.

                  5. To supervise the Student-Peer Facilitators’ Circle and assist them in their work plan.

                  6.To safeguard students’ records and other confidential data in the office.

                  7.To participate in the implementation of the annual guidance program-action plan.




                  III.THE GUIDANCE LIAISON OFFICERS’ FUNCTIONS

                  1. To participate in the implementation of the annual guidance program-action plan.

                  2. To assist in the filling- up of PDI forms in their respective college/department.

                  3.  To  monitor  students  with  personal,  social  and  academic  problems  in  their  respective
                  college/department in coordination with the instructors and make referrals to the Guidance and
                  Counseling Center.

                  4. To firmly safeguard the dignity of the referred students.


                  5. To look into the need of the students in their respective college/ department as to conduct of
                  seminars, workshop for personal, etc. and coordinate it to the Guidance Center.



                  IV.THE STUDENT- PEER FACILITATORS FUNCTIONS

                      1.  To help students with academic and social learning difficulties;
                      2.  To help new students make adjustment into their new environment;
                      3.  To help students get connected to appropriate specialist;
                      4.  To assist students to resolve existing disputes;
                      5.  To help students to obtain career information and job seeking skills;
                      6.  To help other students learn appropriate behaviors;
                      7.  To design and coordinate services and projects that are beneficial in the community; and
                      8.  To reach out or act as a DOOR OPENER to the troubled or lonely.
