CHAPTER III

                            HUMAN RESOURCES’ FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

                  I.THE GUIDANCE COUNSELORS’ FUNCTIONS


                  1.To prepare and implement the annual guidance program under the different guidance services.

                  2.To develop and improve the different services of the Guidance and Counseling Section through
                  worthwhile activities.

                  3.To undertake necessary actions for the maximum utilization of available resources in the center.

                  4.To coordinate different guidance activities to appropriate school authorities, students and the
                  community as necessary.

                  5.To make regular update on any development, activities and accomplishment of the center.

                  6.To plan and initiate actions to generate additional income.

                  7.To plan and implement clear-cut policies and guidelines for the smooth flow of operations in the
                  Guidance and Counseling Section.

                  8.To  facilitate  and  maintain  a  healthy  working  relationship  between  and  among  the  students,
                  administration and the community.

                  9.To supervise the Student-Peer Facilitators’ Circle and assist them in their work plan.

                  10.To administer, score and interpret psychological tests needed for counseling and other related
                  purposes.

                  11.To safeguard students’ records and other confidential data.

                  12. To coordinate with different agencies, support systems in the community and other institution
                  of learning for linkages and for the conduct of various activities that are beneficial to the students.

                  13. To provide opportunities, seminars, trainings and other related activities that could enhance the
                  student’s skills, knowledge and talents.

                  14. To provide the annual evaluation of the guidance program in order to determine the extent to
                  which the objectives are being attained and device remedial measures to strengthen the program.
