2.3 GUIDANCE LIAISON OFFICERS
Chosen from among employees, the designated Guidance Liaison Officer should possess
a natural interest in helping students to develop their potentials as a human person and should be
a model of all virtues as well. He should be a graduate of any of the allied courses in Psychology
and /or Guidance and Counseling and /or with professional experience in the helping role.
2.4 STUDENT-PEER FACILITATORS
A Student-Peer Facilitator is a trained and supervised student to perform per counseling,
facilitating and other communication skills that are beneficial in helping their fellow young people
to resolve a certain concern.
Chosen from qualified student –applicants, the Peer Facilitators should undergo a
training workshop in order for them to be properly equipped with essential skills and appropriate
attitudes that are beneficial as to their roles as Peer Facilitators. A Peer Facilitator is expected to be
responsible enough in undertaking his roles and serves as role model to other people, especially to
his fellow students.
2.5 STUDENT-ASSISTANT
The student assistant, who works a few hours a day and at the same time studies to finish
a degree, should be one who is diligent and responsible, never neglectful of his studies as a student
even if he works to augment his finances for his school expenses. He should be open to possibilities
and should be dedicated to the work at hand.
