“It is also consistent with the framework of Learn-Do-Teach. Although Teach cannot

happen unless people trust you.”

“Firm belief in ability, reliability and integrity of someone or something.” Replied Dan

without second thought.

“True. This is what the dictionary will say. Let me ask you differently. Do you trust me? If

yes, why?”

Dan had to think this time because the question had now become personal and required

choice of right words. “I trust you because I have a firm belief that you will not harm me in

any way. And that you will always be honest with me.”

“Is there a contradiction in what you say Dan? What if my honest communication or

feedback hurts your feelings?”

Ron continued, “It is true that consistently honest and transparent communications and

dealings build trust. However, honesty and transparency is neither saying things that can hurt

nor are they saying incorrect and insincere things that flatter.” He paused for a moment,
