“Thanks Dan. It probably is, but there are few others. I doubt, however, if I can answer your

question sitting here today. I hope you will not mind if I try to answer it over time. I will ask Linda to

block my calendar every Friday same time for the next few weeks if that is OK with you?”

“I will love it. I do realize that the answer is not that simple Ron. Otherwise, all of us would have

got it. Thanks for your offer and the time you will spend helping me. I really appreciate it”

“It will be my pleasure Dan. If I recall correctly you used to write your observations regularly. Are

you still doing it?”

“Yes, I do Ron”

“Great. Then I have a request for some pre-work prior to our meetings. Please record your

observations and learnings during the week. I would like to review them with you and use them to

find the answer to your question. Are you game?”

“I certainly am. Thanks Ron for your time. I look forward to seeing you next Friday” Dan said

while getting up.

“Thanks Dan. You have a nice weekend and say hello to Betsy and Jonathan. By the way, I will

inform Joe that I need some personal help from you and will be seeing you every week for the next

several weeks.” Ron smiled and added, “I don’t want him to start speculating what is going on behind

his back.”

“Thanks also for your advice on John.”

“Thanks Ron. I will see you next week. You too have a nice weekend. I hope Nancy overcomes

the pregnancy issues quickly. Thanks again.”

Dan walked out of Ron’s office. He heard Ron calling Linda on his way out.
