bury our head in the sand, but the friction never ends! And you are right Dan; this is not the
place to be.” Concluded Ron.
He paused for a while and asked, “We started today’s discussion with a question – Is conflict
good or bad?” What do you think now Dan?”
Dan was quiet as he collected his thoughts. “It is a tough one Ron. I would have certainly
said bad this morning. Now, I am inclined to call it good because it is an opportunity to engage
and improve our relationships, if managed well.”
“Well said Dan” Ron smiled.
“It is quite late; let us call it a day. I will keenly await your learnings next Friday.”
He rose and walked towards Dan with outstretched hand, “Say hello to Betsy and have a
great weekend.”
“Thanks Ron. This has been another extremely valuable session. I cannot thank you enough
for your time. I look forward to seeing you next Friday. Good night.”
They shook hands and Dan left for his workstation lost in thought. His immediate concern

resolved urgently.
