The analysis showed that machines with dimensions from D125 to D320 mm can currently
be created with direct drives of cutters and workpieces on 1FW6 or 1FE motors, and machines
of size D1250 mm can be created with direct drives of workpieces using motors of type 1FW6.
Moreover, in a Ø1250 mm machine, it is required to install two motors on the workpiece rotation
spindle. Direct drive of the cutter is possible only on a machine of size D500 mm when two
motors of type 1FW6 are installed on the spindle. In machines of the size D800 mm and D1250
mm, the installation of an intermediate gear is required to drive the cutter to increase the
moment.
