Procedure
A DSM/RSM will receive a notification from the alarm
company. DSM/RSM should check cameras to try to find out
the reason for the notification. DSM/RSM should determine if
there was a break in and if someone has broken into the office.
If there was no break-in, DSM/RSM will tell the dispatcher to
disregard if they see nothing on the camera and provide them
with the password.
If there does appear to be a break-in DSM/RSM will tell the
dispatcher to send police to the office and DSM and RSM should
also go to the office to meet the police when they arrive.
DSM/RSM should wait for the police to arrive before entering
the office.
The DSM/RSM will file the police report and see if anything is
missing, take pictures and connect with Facilities to secure the
office and for next steps. DSM/RSM should work with Facilities
to make arrangements if things need to be repaired. If there is a
broken window or door, DSM should find someone to open and
close the office to allow for repairs.
If when checking the cameras nothing seems to be wrong, the
DSM/RSM should still visit the office to ensure everything is
good or send the nearest Office manager to go in and inspect
the office. DSM/RSM must notify the Sales Director about the
incident.
