Voyage to Volatini

the planet was too far away to
                                                                          reach. NASA started to make
a very fast and efficient rock-
et that could go 10 times faster than the speed of light! One astronaut named Livesey
was training for weightlessness and his journey to Volatini.
After three years of training, Livesey was finally ready to take on his journey to
Volatini. There was also a crew of other astronauts joining him on their mission. It
took them a week to reach the planet even when they travelled 10 times faster than
the speed of light. Volatini had very low gravity so asteroids could hit anytime. As
Livesey and his crew explored the area, they were lost. Livesey took out his compass
and found out that they were at the north pole of the planet. He continued exploring
further but did not realize that his compass fell on the way. Livesey again lost his way
and reached the inhabitable area of the planet which was frozen all around. Livesey
took out an extra set of suit he had carried and put on that too to keep him warm.
The second suit helped him a little but it was still very cold. Livesey struggled to get
out of that place but the cold made him slow and blizzards started randomly. He had
an axe so he dug the ground and went underground to keep himself warm.
After a while he came out and started walking forward. After walking for a long time,
he started feeling warmer the further he walked. Finally it was warm enough for him
and he took off his extra set of suit and kept it back in his backpack. Just then, he
also saw something shining on the ground. As he took a closer look, he realized that
it was his own lost compass. Livesey was very happy to get his compass back. He used
to find the right direction and soon found his crew as well as his spaceship.
His crew members were overjoyed to find him. They observed everything on the plan-
et and researched about the cold side. They found out that even on the cold side of
the planet, humans could survive if they went above the clouds. The astronauts went
back to Earth with all their information and sent thousands of people to build a sky
        base.
Two decades later Volatini had a population of 2.5 billion people living there.
They also built technology to make an artificial shield that protected Volatini from
asteroids. Livesey was forever remembered for his exploration of Volatini.
