• During the FY 2019-20, 1.56 lakh units were generated and exported to the State
Electricity Grids. An amount ` 9.16 lakh was credited in the energy bills for such
generation.

9. MECHANICAL

9.1 Supply and Commissioning of DEMU Trainsets to Nepal Railway

The manufacturing of Two 5 Car 1600 HP DEMU Trainsets for Nepal Railway against the
rst international order received by Konkan Railway was completed at ICF, Chennai and
the rakes have been dispatched from ICF to be handed over to Nepal via East Central
Railway. Contract Agreement for this work was signed on 10th May 2019 between Govt.
of Nepal (DoRW) and KRCL.
