GENERAL ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATION

Luminaires shall be provided complete with all mounting equipment and accessories
necessary to install them in the locations indicated on the drawings.
2.10.1.1 Kitchen Lighting
The kitchen space will be lit using the following fittings:

Standard, background IP65, LED, Non-corrosive 1500mm surface LED Flat Bed-AU
mounted fitting, as manufactured by Aurora,
their catalogue reference AU-ANT1X/40
complete with driver AU-ALD14065CC.
Emergency, - non2 Watt high power self-contained fitting with E3R
maintained white LED, 3 hour battery, as manufactured by
Aurora, their catalogue reference AU-EMLD2
The kitchen will be lit to an average luminance level of 1000lux at the working plane.
The position of standard and emergency light fittings is to be carefully co-ordinated with
the location of duct access panels, so as to avoid blocking access for duct cleaning.
Luminaires will not be located directly over hot cooking surfaces, i.e. grille platens, VATs,
fry stations, etc. refer to the typical kitchen lighting layout in the appendices to this
specification.
2.10.1.2 Back of House Lighting
The back of house areas (staff corridors, store room, switchroom, etc.) will be lit using the
following luminaires:

Light fitting will be fixed surface or suspended on chains below services.
