             During the progress of the work and on completion the Contractor is to carry out such
             tests and provide such apparatus, instruments and materials as the Employers Agent
             may consider necessary and as may be reasonably demanded to prove compliance with
             the requirements of this specification.

             The Contractor is to carry out all commissioning and tests necessary and submit
             completed record sheets, prior to any acceptance witness tests requested by the
             Project Manager.

             The whole of the electrical installation is to be tested at completion in the manner
             prescribed in the latest IET Regulations.

             Within 4 days following the inspection and testing of part or the whole of the electrical
             installation the Contractor is to forward inspection and completion certificates as
             described in the latest IET Regulations.

             The mechanical installation is to be tested and commissioned at completion in the
             manner prescribed in the CIBSE Commissioning Codes and BSRIA Application Guides.

             Where the work requires phased hand over and completion, the Contractor is to allow
             for undertaking phased commissioning of the works. The Contractor is to allow for
             return to all previously completed phases upon the completion of the final phase to
             undertake an overall re commission and balance of all systems.

             The Contractor is to supply at his own expense all fuel, instruments, meters, cables,
             rods, lamps and resistances, etc., required to carry out tests. These instruments are to
             remain the property of the Contractor who is to accept full responsibility for their
             accuracy and safety.

             The commissioning is to be carried out to a programme agreed with the Main
             Contractor.

             The Contractor is to allow all necessary costs in connection with the commissioning to
             co-ordinate his works and provide the necessary flow data and information.

             Any witnessing of commissioning by the Project Manager is to be by prior appointment
             with at least five working days' notice. Additional spot checking may be required by the
             Project Manager when the Contractor has confirmed that all systems have been
             commissioned/ balanced to his satisfaction. Records of commissioning are to be
             forwarded to the Project Manager prior to the witnessing.

             Commissioning and test results are to be prepared in a tabular form on a format to be
             previously submitted to and agreed by the Project Manager.

             Following agreement and approval to the commissioning and test results they are to
             form part of the "Operating and Maintenance Manuals".

1.2.22 Design and Performance Responsibility

             The Contractor is to be responsible for works including but not limited to:

                1. The provision of builders works information and drawings.
