Title: Susan’s Last Trip To An Adventure Park

Last Sunday, Susan’s family decided to visit the newly-opened adventure park in

town, little did they realize that tragedy would strike their family

Susan’s father bought them day passes which allowed them to have unlimited rides
on both indoor and outdoor theme parks. Susan’s brother and Susan were determined to make
the most of the day and they decided to try out the indoor park first. They rode the bumper
cars and went to play bowling.

Susan’s brother was keen to try the more exciting rides. He was determined to ride
the roller coaster. They had heard that the roller coaster was the most exhilarating ride in the
park. They made their way to the outdoor park. Susan’s brother was raring to get on the roller
coaster but Susan was a little hesitant. Susan was not sure if she could stomach the ride.
Susan’s brother laughed at her fears and said that she was being irrational. So, he decided to
go for it alone.

Susan’s parents and Susan watched as he climbed into the seat. Half way through the
ride, they saw him waving frantically to them. They waved back. Suddenly Susan noticed
the panic stricken look on his face. It was only then that Susan realized his safety bar was not
in place. Before Susan could do anything, she saw him hurling towards the ground.

They shouted for help while Susan was completely dumbfounded by the incident. By
the time the operator pressed the emergency button, Susan’s brother was lying on the ground,
seriously injured.

It was later discovered that the safety bar was faulty. The management of the theme
park offered to compensate their family for Susan’s brother injuries as part of an out-of-court
settlement, but Susan’s father refused. He decided to sue the management of the park for
negligence. No amount of money would take away their shock and sadness. It was Susan’s
family last trip to an adventure park and she will never forget it as long as she lives.
