“Looks bad”, said Harry on seeing Tish. “Bells, you better call your Mummy, I
think we need a vet.”

Harry instructed everyone to keep Tish calm while he cut the wire that was

wrapped around Tish’s legs. Tish was very pleased to see his rescuers and
stayed calm while Harry cut each strand.

Eventually Tish was free but he couldn’t get up after lying down for so long.
James suggested that a bucket of water was the answer. It would shock him and
his muscles would work again. The girls weren’t so sure as cold water wasn’t
their thing. James, on the other hand, who always wore shorts whatever the

weather, was never bothered by the cold. Harry thought that they should give it
a go. James fetched a bucket of water and threw it over Tish. He snorted,
jumped to his feet and gave James a friendly nuzzle to say thank you. Then he
staggered over to Harry and gave him a nuzzle too.

Bells and Amelia looked at all his wounds. Bells called her Mummy and told
her all about poor old Tish.

“I will be there is about an hour”, said Bells’ mummy.

They went back to their camp and had a breakfast of bacon, eggs and beans.
Harry had some black pudding which everyone else thought looked horrible.
Harry munched through it explaining only real men eat black pudding.

After breakfast they tidied up their camp and then went back down to Tish.
Bells’ mummy soon arrived and bandaged Tish’s wounds. He was so grateful

that he nuzzled her as well.

Grandpa drove up on his tractor and asked if they wanted a lift home. So with
his help they took everything home. When they had unloaded their things, the
gang told Granny all about their adventure. Jackson and Amelia told their
mummy all about it as well and she thought that they were brilliant and very
brave.
