When they got back to the lorry park, Granny and Grandpa were waiting for
them.
“Do you know these children?” asked one passenger. “They are heroes”.
The gang told Granny and Grandpa all about their adventure and they were very
impressed.
“Time to go home now, I think”, said Granny. So off they set to the exit. You
have to walk through the shop to leave the zoo. When they arrived at the shop,
there was Jane, the vet.
“You will pleased to know that thanks to you, mother and baby are doing well”,
said Jane. “We would like to thank you by letting you choose one toy each from
the shelves.”
“Oh, thank you!”, they all said.
Each went to choose a toy.
Bells chose a zebra! Harry chose a lion. James chose a giraffe. Ellie chose a
tapir because she knew that that was Grandpa’s favourite animal.
On the way home, Ellie and James fell asleep cuddling their new toys but Bells
and Harry chatted about their adventure.
