Once on the ground, Ellie took the cat from Bells’ shoulders. She noticed that it
had a tag on a collar but she wasn’t good at reading yet so she asked Harry to
look at it.
“It’s a telephone number”, said Harry.
“Grandpa, may I borrow your ‘phone to call the number?” asked Bells.
Grandpa handed Bells his phone and she carefully dialled the number. The
phone started to ring and after some five or six rings, the phone clicked.
“This is Studland 309517, no, I mean 309157”, said a voice. “Who is it
speaking, please?”, the voice continued.
“It’s Bells”
“I don’t know a Bells”, said the voice.
“You probably don’t but I think I might have your cat here. It’s blue grey and
long haired.” said Bells.
“That’s my Tiddles” said a very excited voice down the ‘phone. Bells turned to
the others and said “We’ve got a right one here!”
“What was that you said?”, said the voice.
