“I was just telling my sister and cousins here, that we have got the right
               number”, said Bells thinking quickly.

“She has been gone for two days and I have been so worried. She is the only

company I’ve got”, the voice continued.

“Where do you live?”, asked Bells.

“Number 6, Harbour View Cottages”, said the voice.

“I think we passed your cottage on our walk. You are right on the footpath,
               aren’t you?” asked Bells.

               “That’s right”

“We will be with you in about half an hour as long as we don’t lose Tiddles on
               the way” said Bells.

Bells passed the ‘phone back to Grandpa.

Ellie suggested “If I empty my rucksack, she can go in that as long someone
else takes my things for me.”

“Good idea, Ellie. I will carry your things”, said James

“I may be the littlest but..”

But before she could finish everyone said “but you are not stupid”. Everyone
               laughed. Ellie emptied her rucksack.

The cat was not keen on being put into a dark bag and struggled. Bells took
control of the situation and thrust her into the rucksack and quickly did it up.
The cat wailed and struggled until Bells started talking calmy to her. Once the

cat had settled, they packed up and set off for the cottage.

On arriving at number 6, Bells rang the doorbell. There was a delay and then
they heard a shuffling sound and finally the door was opened very slowly, one
               lock at a time.

A little old lady in her slippers stood before them. “Have you brought my

Tiddles back to me?” she asked.

“We have” said Bells. “Rescued from a tree in the forest. I had to climb up to
bring her down”, said Bells’ full of pride.

“You went up?” enquired the little old lady. “I used to climb trees when I was a
little girl but now I am old, alone and find it difficult to even walk. You cannot
imagine how happy I am to have my Tiddles back. Thank you all so very much
