another cart shot past him and Harry realised that he had a lot to learn.

By the end of his second lap, he was feeling a lot more confident and knew
what the corners were like. He tried going faster still, particularly on the
straights and braking before corners. His confidence was growing by the
minute. He took the next corner quicker than ever but for some reason the
cart’s steering pulled him into the corner and the cart went into a spin, coming
to a halt on a patch of grass. Harry was a bit shaken by this but drove back onto
the track and headed for the pits.
Harry explained to James what had happened.
“Sounds like oversteer to me”, said James. “I will check the tyre pressures and
possibly adjust the tracking giving a little bit of toe in”.
Harry was very impressed with James’ knowledge and confidence in how to
rectify the fault. So too was their Daddy.
“James, you will have to help me build my car. You seem to know more about
cars than I do”, said their Daddy.
James smiled. First he got out the pressure gauge to check the pressure in each
tyre.
