Maintain Player Contact Details for the current year on Google Drive
Record attendance at rehearsals, administer leave applications and
follow up absences. Liaise with Music Director and Player
Representatives as necessary.
Communicate updated current rehearsal/concert schedules with players
via Calendar, email and social media as required.
Manage player issues as they arise. Follow up on player questions or
requests in a timely manner; help promote positive relations between
the players and Committee.
4. Development
Actively work to retain existing AYO players and attract new players to
the orchestra.
Establish positive contacts with other arts organisations, media outlets,
music retailers, music directors, school and private music instructors in
Auckland and regular performance destinations.
Work to expand public awareness of AYO and maintain a positive
image of the orchestra.
Keep eye out for opportunities – rehearsal and performance venues,
soloists, design, promotion.
5. Reports
Prepare a monthly report to the Executive Committee regarding
progress on Scheduling, Production, Player Administration and
Development as outlined above.
