2.2 Frame of Mind
Previous Research:
a. Research conducted by Khasanah and Nurmawati (2021) entitled Development of
Digital Modules as Biological Teaching Materials for Class XI IPA Students
b. Research conducted by Andini and Qomariyah (2022) entitled validation of e-book
type flipbook of pbl-based human digestive system material to train the critical
thinking skills of high school students
c. Research conducted by Rusilanti and Riska (2021) entitled The influence of training
on healthy food selection to prevent stunting through nutrition education on
improving the knowledge of young women.
Stunting is a condition that fails to grow due to malnutrition in the first thousand days of
a child's life. One of the efforts to reduce the prevalence of stunting is to improve
education and counseling for clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) and balanced
nutrition patterns in adolescents (Ministry of Health, 2016). Nutrition education canbe
done by integrating stunting problems in teaching materials used in schools in accordance
with the basic competencies to be achieved.
One of the teaching materials that can be used to provide nutrition education to students
is the electronic module (e-module). Accordin g to Pramana (2020) e-modules have a
positive impact on student learning outcomes because they increase students' motivation
in learning.
Theuse of case study methods in stunting e-modules directs students to be able to analyze
and find out the solution of the stunting problem. According to Werdiningsih et al., (2021)
case-based learning is the provision of jumlah scenario specifically real-world situations.
The case must have problems that must be faced and addressed by the person or group
concerned in the case.
Nutrition education using e-modules based on stunting case studies contains information
about stunting problems, food ingredients needed by the body, a balanced diet menu and
how to maintain self-health that is integrated into the basic competencies taught in
schools so as to increase nutritional knowledge in adolescents.
