4. Membership - 49 units of members (couples and singles, translating to 90 individuals. Some members hardly come
during the year (commuters, etc.) who may not renew. However, some people come occasionally and might join so we
will probably maintain the numbers and budgeted accordingly. Question: What is maximum space? Approximately, 40
men, 30 women 70 seats total. People who come regularly are approached to become members. Provisions are made
for people who cannot afford membership. One member offered to donate funds to discretely help cover membership
for those who could use such help. No plans to raise dues.

        Financial Report was accepted unanimously.

5.Elections: All have received a list of the present make-up of the Vaad, and the positions that are open for election at the
meeting. No further nominations were received before or at the meeting, Consequently, the slate that was proposed is
accepted: Sabine Himmelfarb, Marilyn Mack and Jack Martell each elected for a two-year term to the Vaad of Kehilat
        Shavei Tziyon.

6.Nathan Lindenbaum and Shmuel Rosenthal have volunteered to serve as audit committee, a committee required by
        our by-laws (Takhanon).
        7. Proposal was made to set aside 10,000 NIS for ac/heater. Consensus is that we need to provide heating and cooling
for the lobby. There will be a process to obtain bids, compare costs. It will require coordination with BF, piping,
        installation etc.

8.. Thanks to Jack and Marty who spent frustrating hours to finally be able to open bank account.

        9. We need volunteers for additional committees- Chesed, social/educational programs.
10.Successful daily minyan 12-15 regularly. When members travel this impacts minyan so we encourage people to come
to daily minyan, especially when some regulars are traveling.

        11. Comments and questions from membership:

Is there a need for a mehitza? Answer: KST Rabbinic leaders have approved current arrangement.

A suggestion was made that people can donate used items to BF for their annual bazaar and/or volunteer there
as a way of improving relationship. KST has also collected donations for BF in past.

Deborah Renert kindly offered to arrange a Mishloach manot project.

12.Announcement: Friday, Yom Yerushalayim, special shaharit tefillah with refreshments at KST.
