MOST OF ALL- SAM who inspires us all . ביבח ןורחא ןורחא -
Bottom line: it takes a lot of people to make things happen. THANK YOU ALL.
2. Beit Frankforter venue, while not ideal, meets most of our needs. Other venues have been explored over time,
but none are presently realistic. The municipality requires a substantial financial commitment to qualify for
land allocation and we are not in a financial position to do this. The vacant lot we explored is probably going to
be used for building a Gan; if they were proceeding with building, we could explore sharing it, but it presently is
not proceeding. The municipality is aware of our wishes for a location.
The Tunisian shul is also not an option because substantial funds need to be committed to complete it and to
meet building codes. Presently squatters are there and reportedly they are trying to remove them. KST is not
financially able to share costs of building. At our stage in life and financial resources we have and the time it
takes to build, we presently need a realistic solution.
Conclusion: We will be in Beit Frankforter for the foreseeable future, but we should keep eyes open for other
options if available. We have renewed a one-year lease at BF.
3. Financial report-
Total revenues to end of 2022: membership dues plus donations 56,312 NIS
Total expenses to end of 2022 (including rent, legal fees, insurance, kiddush costs, holiday guard, heaters, and
misc.” 18,308 NIS
NET: 38,004
NET to May 2023: 41,000
Projected expenses this year are comparable to last year for rent etc. Some expenses last year were one-time
expenses like legal/amuta expenses. Possible projected expenses: AC system for lobby if that is approved by
VAAD.
If a new location becomes available, we will need funds to cover costs.
