               art or science) and (c) Sites (i.e. works of man or the combined



               works of nature and man, and areas including archaeological sites



               which  are  of  outstanding  universal  value  from  the  historical,



               aesthetic, ethnological or anthropological point of view).



               2- Categories of Cultural Heritage



               Cultural heritage is a main constituent of our individual, local and



               national identities and a focal contributor to our relationships with



               other communities around the world.



               In other words, cultural heritage may be classified into two major



               categories:  (tangible  cultural  heritage)  and  (intangible  cultural



               heritage) where the former includes: (a) Movable cultural assets




               and masterpieces that are displayed in museums and art galleries
